Frequently asked questions
Why is the cold plunge part of Rebuild?
A cold plunge is a deliberate, chosen challenge: a few moments of bracing cold that you decide to enter and decide to leave. For someone rebuilding after loss, that act of choosing is the point. It is a small daily proof of your own agency.
Is cold plunging safe for beginners?
Approached gradually, many people do well with it, but cold exposure is a real physical stressor and it is not for everyone. Start with short, mild exposure, never plunge alone, and talk with your physician first, especially if you have a heart or blood-pressure condition or are pregnant. Our Rebuild content includes a beginner’s progression.
Important Safety Notice: Please talk with your physician before starting heat, cold, or PEMF practices, especially if you are pregnant, have a cardiovascular condition, or have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
